LAW ENFORCEMENT PROCEDURES & GUIDELINES

These guidelines are provided for use by government and law enforcement agencies when seeking information from Boss48 about our players. Boss48 will update these Guidelines as necessary.

All other requests for information regarding Boss48 customers, including customer questions about information disclosure, should be directed to legal@Boss48.com.

Boss48 complies with the laws governing global entities that control our data and provides details as legally required. For all requests from government and law enforcement agencies—except in emergency circumstances—Boss48 will only provide content in response to a search warrant issued upon a showing of probable cause, customer consent, or compliance with applicable laws.

Boss48 has a centralized process for receiving, tracking, processing, and responding to legitimate legal requests from government and law enforcement agencies. A trained legal team reviews all requests, and requests deemed unclear, inappropriate, or overly broad may be objected to, challenged, rejected, or ignored.

All law enforcement requests must be sent from the official email address of the requesting agency. Boss48 does not provide responses to non-official emails. Additionally, evidence preservation is the responsibility of the requesting law enforcement agency.

Subpoenas, search warrants, and court orders should seek specific information about a particular Boss48 player or wallet address. Boss48 can only provide information within its data retention policies. Government and law enforcement agencies should ensure their legal process is specific and narrowly tailored to avoid objections, challenges, or rejections due to over-broad or vague requests.

SERVICE OF LEGAL PROCESS

Boss48 accepts service of legal processes via email at legal@Boss48.com from government and law enforcement agencies, provided they are transmitted from an official agency email. To ensure validity, Boss48 requires the complete legal process, including attachments, to be submitted as an uneditable PDF.

Due to system security policies, Boss48 will not download legal process documents from email links. Providing a download link will not be considered a valid service of process. Instead, legal documents should be sent as password-protected attachments, with the password provided in a separate email.

Paper copies of legal processes are not required if served electronically at legal@Boss48.com.

Subpoenas & Search Warrants:Boss48 carefully reviews all legal requests to ensure a valid legal basis. If a request lacks a legal foundation or is overly broad, Boss48 may object, challenge, or reject it.

Witness Testimony Subpoenas:Boss48 does not waive service requirements for subpoenas seeking witness testimony and will not accept electronic service. Personal service or service through Boss48’s registered agent is required. Subpoenas with fewer than 14 days' notice will be resisted.

Preservation Requests:Government or law enforcement agencies should send preservation requests from an official email to legal@Boss48.com. Requests must include identifying details such as the Boss48 ID/account email address or the full name and address associated with the account. Boss48 preserves existing customer data for 90 days, with one possible 90-day extension upon request.

Emergency Requests:In cases of imminent danger or serious physical harm, Boss48 may voluntarily disclose information in good faith. Requests should be marked “Emergency Government & Law Enforcement Information Request” and sent directly from an official agency email. A supervisor’s contact details should be included for verification.

Account Restriction/Deletion Requests:Boss48 requires a court order (such as a judgment of conviction or warrant) demonstrating unlawful account use before taking action. Requests that lack legal basis will be challenged or rejected.

Customer Notice:Boss48 notifies customers when their account information is requested by law enforcement unless prohibited by law or court order. For emergency disclosures, notice may be delayed for 90 days.
